SUPPORT A GREAT CAUSE!
The Grosse Ile Boar's Head Festival
This medieval renaissance celebration displays both the colorful magnificience of the great feast and the simple beauty of the Christmas story. Nearly 600 talented community residents sing, perform or contribute their skills in the production by working on set design and construction, costumes, props, make-up, marketing, and choreography.
Generations have been captivated by the brass ensemble, recorders, bell choirs, bagpipes, singers, dancers, tumblers, jesters, mummers, magicians, Christmas sprites, townspeople, and adult, angel, and children's choirs with more than 100 voices, and a 25 piece orchestra.
We couldn't continue this one-of-a-kind festival without the generously funded gifts from our community. Thank you for your help upholding this wonderful tradition!
